What is Mold?
Mold is a microorganism, a furry growth of minute fungal hyphae occurring typically in moist warm conditions. They are found everywhere and can grow on almost anything if there is moisture. Inside your home, it grow quickly on damp surfaces, like bathroom walls, and trim around windows or around air conditioning coils in your furnace. These fungi may look like furry growth, black stains, or specks of black, white, orange, green, or brown.

What Does Mold Do to Our Bodies?
When the growth of mold appears, it can send clouds of invisible particles through the air. These particles can cause infections, allergies, asthma, and other breathing problems. If it is present in your ventilation system, every time the heat or air comes on, these particles are blown into the living space. These tiny particles are then inhaled deep into our lungs. To avoid these health problems, keep your home as free from fungal growth as possible.

How Can I Keep Mold Out of My Home?
Keep your home as dry and as clean as possible; dirt and soil provide a food source for mold to reproduce, which can lead to destruction of furniture, drywall and more as the growth can destroy whatever it grows on. Prevent damage to building materials and furnishings, save money, and avoid potential health risks by controlling moisture and eliminating any growth as soon as it is detected.
